FeedToPaper turns your own photos into a printed book. To do that we process some information about you. This page says what, why, and for how long.

Who is responsible

What we process

• Account: your email and a hashed version of your password. We cannot see the password itself.
• Your photos and text: the photos, captions and comments you upload, and the book you build from them.
• Orders: name, delivery address, email, what you ordered, price and VAT.
• Technical: your IP address for a short time, to slow down repeated login attempts. It is not stored.

When you pick photos straight from your phone, the selection happens in your own browser. The photos do not leave the phone until you press save. The working data lives in the browser's own storage for at most 7 days and is cleared when you log out.

Legal basis

We process this data to deliver what you ordered (GDPR article 6(1)(b)), because bookkeeping law requires it (6(1)(c)), and to keep the service secure (6(1)(f)).

Who we share with

• Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany) hosts the server. Everything stays within the EU.
• Cloudprinter.com B.V. (Netherlands) and its print partners receive the print files and your delivery address so the book can be printed and shipped. Orders to the US are printed in the US.
• Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. (Ireland) handles payment. We never see your card number.

We do not sell data, and we use no advertising or analytics services.

How long

• Photos and books: until you delete them or your account.
• Orders with name and address: 5 years after the end of the financial year the order belongs to. Danish bookkeeping law requires this, and it also applies after account deletion.
• Login sessions: expire on their own and are removed when you log out.

Cookies

We set two cookies, both strictly necessary: ib_session (keeps you logged in) and ib_locale (remembers your language). Neither is used to track you, so we do not ask for consent.

Your rights

You can access, correct, delete and export your data. You delete your account yourself under "My books" in the app. Write to troels@godemedier.dk if you need help. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency at datatilsynet.dk.

Changes

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of the page.
